حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ - قَالَ لَقِيتُ رَجُلاً صَحِبَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَمَا صَحِبَهُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْيَمْتَشِطَ أَحَدُنَا كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَوْ يَبُولَ فِي مُغْتَسَلِهِ ‏.‏

Narrated A Man from the Companions

Ahmad ibn Yunus narrated to us: Zuhayr narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abd Allah, from Humayd al-Himyari - and he is the son of Abd al-Rahman - who said: I met a man who had accompanied the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, just as Abu Hurayrah had accompanied him, and he said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade that any of us should comb his hair every day or urinate in his washing place.
