حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْيُبَالَ فِي الْجُحْرِ ‏.‏قَالَ قَالُوا لِقَتَادَةَ مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنَ الْبَوْلِ فِي الْجُحْرِ قَالَ كَانَ يُقَالُ إِنَّهَا مَسَاكِنُ الْجِنِّ

Narrated Abdullah ibn Sarjis

Ubayd Allah ibn Umar ibn Maysarah narrated to us: Muadh ibn Hisham narrated to us: My father narrated to me, from Qatadah, from Abdullah ibn Sarjis, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) prohibited urinating in a hole. He said: They asked Qatadah, "What is disliked about urinating in a hole?" He said, "It used to be said that they are the dwellings of the jinn."
