حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمأَنْ نَتَمَسَّحَ بِعَظْمٍ أَوْ بَعْرٍ ‏.‏

Narrated Jabir b. 'Abd Allaah

Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hanbal narrated to us: Rawh ibn 'Ubadah narrated to us: Zakariyya' ibn Ishaq narrated to us: Abu al-Zubayr, that he heard Jabir ibn 'Abdullah saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade us from wiping ourselves with a bone or dung.
