The Objects With Which It Is Prohibited To Purify Oneself
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمأَنْ نَتَمَسَّحَ بِعَظْمٍ أَوْ بَعْرٍ .
Translation
Narrated Jabir b. 'Abd Allaah
The Apostle of Allaah ( sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam ) forbade us to use a bone or dung for wiping.
