حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏إِذَا ذَهَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْغَائِطِ فَلْيَذْهَبْ مَعَهُ بِثَلاَثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ يَسْتَطِيبُ بِهِنَّ فَإِنَّهَا تُجْزِئُ عَنْهُ ‏"

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin

Sa'id bin Mansur and Qutaibah bin Sa'id narrated to us, both saying: Ya'qub bin Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Muslim bin Qurth, from Urwah, from Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When any of you goes to relieve himself, let him take with him three stones to clean himself with, for they will be sufficient for him."
