Using The Siwak When Praying The (Voluntary) Night Prayer
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَيُوضَعُ لَهُ وَضُوءُهُ وَسِوَاكُهُ فَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تَخَلَّى ثُمَّ اسْتَاكَ .
Translation
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin
Ablution water and tooth-stick were placed by the side of the Prophet (ﷺ). When he got up during the night (for prayer), he relieved himself, then he used the tooth-stick.
