حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَالرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَاءُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ - مِنَ الإِنَاءِ الْوَاحِدِ جَمِيعًا ‏.‏

Narrated Ibn 'Umar

Musaddad narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', and (through another chain) Abdullah ibn Maslamah narrated to us, from Malik, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: "During the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), men and women used to perform ablution together from a single vessel." Musaddad said: "From a single vessel."
