حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كُنَّانَتَوَضَّأُ نَحْنُ وَالنِّسَاءُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ نُدْلِي فِيهِ أَيْدِيَنَا ‏.‏

Narrated 'Abd Allaah b. 'Umar

Musaddad narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah, Nafi' narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: We and the women used to perform ablution during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, from a single vessel, dipping our hands into it.
