Narrated Humayd al-Himyari
Ahmad ibn Yunus narrated to us: Zuhayr narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abd Allah; and Musaddad narrated to us: Abu Awanah narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abd Allah, from Humayd al-Himyari, who said: I met a man who accompanied the Prophet (ﷺ) for four years, just as Abu Hurayrah accompanied him. He said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade a woman to perform ablution or bath with the leftover water of a man, or a man with the leftover water of a woman. Musaddad added: And let them both scoop water together.
