Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ لَقَدِ ارْتَقَيْتُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْبَيْتِ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ لِحَاجَتِهِ
Translation
Abdullah ibn Maslamah narrated to us, from Malik, from Yahya ibn Said, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, from his uncle Waqi ibn Habban, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: I climbed onto the roof of the house and saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sitting on two bricks, facing Bayt al-Maqdis, to relieve himself.
