Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمأَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ بِعَامٍ يَسْتَقْبِلُهَا .
Translation
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah
Muhammad bin Bashshar narrated to us: Wahb bin Jarir narrated to us: My father said: I heard Muhammad bin Ishaq narrating from Aban bin Salih, from Mujahid, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said: The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) forbade us to face the Qiblah while urinating. Then I saw him, one year before he passed away, facing it.
