Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ بِعَامٍ يَسْتَقْبِلُهَا .
Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us; Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us; my father narrated to us, saying: I heard Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrating from Aban ibn Salih, from Mujahid, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us to face the qiblah while urinating. Then, a year before he died, I saw him facing it.
