حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، سَمِعْتُ الْمِقْدَامَ بْنَ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ الْكِنْدِيَّ، قَالَ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِوَضُوءٍفَتَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلاَثًا وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرِهِمَا وَبَاطِنِهِمَا ‏.‏

Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib al-Kindi

Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, Huraiz narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Maysarah al-Hadrami narrated to me, saying: I heard al-Miqdad ibn Ma'dikarib al-Kindi saying: Water for ablution was brought to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he performed ablution. He washed his hands three times, then rinsed his mouth and snuffed water up his nose three times, then washed his face three times, then washed his forearms three times, three times, then wiped his head and his ears, their outsides and their insides.
