حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ وَمَسَحَ بِأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرِهِمَا وَبَاطِنِهِمَا ‏.‏ زَادَ هِشَامٌ وَأَدْخَلَ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي صِمَاخِ أُذُنَيْهِ

Another version says

Mahmud ibn Khalid and Hisham ibn Khalid—meaning the same—said: Al-Walid narrated to us with this isnad, and he said: And he wiped his ears, their outer and inner parts. Hisham added: And he inserted his fingers into the ear-holes.
