حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلممَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مِنْ فَضْلِ مَاءٍ كَانَ فِي يَدِهِ ‏.‏

Al-Rubayyi’ reported

Musaddad narrated to us: 'Abdullah bin Dawud narrated to us, from Sufyan bin Sa'id, from Ibn 'Aqil, from Al-Rubayyi', that the Prophet (ﷺ) wiped his head with the remaining water that was in his hand.
