حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَوَجَدَ حَرَكَةً فِي دُبُرِهِ أَحْدَثَ أَوْ لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فَأَشْكَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَلاَ يَنْصَرِفْ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا ‏"

Abu Hurairah said

Musa ibn Ismail told us, Hammad told us, Suhayl ibn Abi Salih informed us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If any one of you is in prayer and feels a movement in his rear, whether he has passed wind or not, and it becomes doubtful to him, he should not leave [the prayer] until he hears a sound or smells an odor."
