Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib
Musa bin Ismail narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Ata bin Al-Sa'ib informed us, from Zadhan, from Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever leaves the space of a hair from major ritual impurity (janabah) without washing it, such and such will be done to him from the Fire." Ali said: "From then on I became an enemy to my head, from then on I became an enemy to my head three times." And he used to shave or cut his hair.
