Translation

Abu Dawud said this report was read to al-Harith ibn Miskin while he was present. Ashhab ibn Abd al-Aziz related Malik as saying: Umar expelled the people of Najran, but they were not expelled from Tayma because it was not considered part of Arabia. As for al-Wadi, Malik thought its Jews had not been expelled because it was not considered part of Arabia. In another report, Malik said that Umar expelled the Jews of Najran and Fadak.
