Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ تَفْسِيرِ، هَذَا فَقَالَ إِذَا أَسْلَمَ فَلاَ جِزْيَةَ عَلَيْهِ .
Translation
Muhammad ibn Kathir said that Sufyan was asked to explain the preceding report. He replied: “If he becomes a Muslim, no jizyah is due from him.”
