Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَغْرَاءَ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَالَّذِي يَعْشُرُ النَّاسَ يَعْنِي صَاحِبَ الْمَكْسِ
Translation
Narrated Ibn Ishaq
The one who gathers the people — meaning the collector of unlawful taxes (sahib al-maks).
