Sunan Abi Dawud 2867
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُدَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَشْعَثُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ وَالْمَرْأَةَ بِطَاعَةِ اللَّهِ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً ثُمَّ يَحْضُرُهُمَا الْمَوْتُ فَيُضَارَّانِ فِي الْوَصِيَّةِ فَتَجِبُ لَهُمَا النَّارُ " . قَالَ وَقَرَأَ عَلَىَّ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مِنْ هَا هُنَا { مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصَى بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَارٍّ } حَتَّى بَلَغَ { ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ } . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ هَذَا - يَعْنِي الأَشْعَثَ بْنَ جَابِرٍ - جَدُّ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ .
'Abdah ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us: 'Abd al-Samad informed us: Nasr ibn 'Ali al-Huddani narrated to us: al-Ash'ath ibn Jabir narrated to us: Shahr ibn Hawshab narrated to me, that Abu Hurayrah related to him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘A man or a woman may act in obedience to Allah for sixty years, then, when death comes to them, they cause harm through their bequest, and the Fire becomes binding for them.’ Abu Hurayrah recited to me from this passage: ‘After a bequest made or a debt, without causing harm,’ until he reached: ‘That is the great triumph.’ Abu Dawud said: ‘This—meaning al-Ash'ath ibn Jabir—is the grandfather of Nasr ibn 'Ali.’
