Book 27, Hadith 4
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِنْ قَامَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَفِي يَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَسِيلَةٌ، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ لاَ تَقُومَ حَتَّى يَغْرِسَهَا فَلْيَغْرِسْهَا.

Abu al-Walid said: Hammad ibn Salama related to us, from Hisham ibn Zayd ibn Anas ibn Malik, from Anas ibn Malik, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “If the Hour comes while one of you has a palm shoot in his hand, and he is able to plant it before the Hour comes, let him plant it.”
