حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: ثَلاَثُ دَعَوَاتٍ مُسْتَجَابَاتٍ: دَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ، وَدَعْوَةُ الْمُسَافِرِ، وَدَعْوَةُ الْوَالِدِ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ.

Abu Nu‘aym said: Shayban related to us, from Yahya, from Abu Ja‘far, from Abu Hurayra, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “Three supplications are answered: the supplication of the wronged person, the supplication of the traveler, and a parent’s supplication against his child.”

The Arabic preposition ‘ala means ‘against’, while the English witness says ‘for’.
Should the English witness be corrected to ‘against’ to match the Arabic?
