Bishr ibn Muhammad related to us, saying: ‘Abdullah informed us, saying: Sa‘d ibn Sa‘id al-Ansari informed us, from al-Zuhri, from a man of Bali, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with my father. He spoke privately with my father, apart from me. I said to my father: “What did he say to you?” He replied: “When you intend to do something, proceed deliberately until Allah shows you a way out concerning it, or until Allah makes a way out for you.”
