Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih al-Bukhari 5751
ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Juʿfī narrated to me: Hishām narrated to us: Maʿmar informed us, from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her): “During the illness in which he died, the Prophet ﷺ would blow over himself while reciting the protective chapters. When his illness became severe, I would recite them and blow over him, then wipe him with his own hand, seeking its blessing.” I asked Ibn Shihāb how he would blow. He said, “He would blow over his hands, then wipe his face with them.”
