ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to me: Yaḥyā narrated to us, from Sufyān, from al-Aʿmash, from Muslim, from Masrūq, from ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: “The Prophet ﷺ would recite a protective supplication over some of his family, wiping them with his right hand and saying, ‘Remove the harm, Lord of the people, and heal; You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.’” I mentioned this to Manṣūr, and he narrated to me a similar report from Ibrāhīm, from Masrūq, from ʿĀʾishah.
