حَدَّثَنِي خَلِيفَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ مَاتَ أَبُو زَيْدٍ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ عَقِبًا، وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا.
Translation
Khalifa narrated to me: Muhammad ibn ʿAbdullah al-Ansari narrated to us: Saʿid narrated to us, from Qatada, from Anas (may God be pleased with him), who said: Abu Zayd died leaving no descendants. He had been among those present at Badr.
