حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ، عَائِذُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ، وَكَانَ، شَهِدَ بَدْرًا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " بَايِعُونِي ".
Translation
Abu al-Yaman narrated to us: Shuʿayb informed us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Abu Idris ʿAʾidhullah ibn ʿAbdullah informed me that ʿUbada ibn al-Samit, who had been present at Badr, related that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Pledge allegiance to me.”
