Musa narrated to us: Abu ʿAwana narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Ibrahim, from ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from ʿAlqama, from Abu Masʿud al-Badri (may God be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The two verses at the end of Surat al-Baqara: whoever recites them during a night, they will suffice him.” ʿAbd al-Rahman said: I met Abu Masʿud while he was circumambulating the House, asked him about it, and he related it to me.
