Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ، قَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ. فَذَكَرَ خَيْبَرَ وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ وَيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ وَيَوْمَ الْقَرَدِ. قَالَ يَزِيدُ وَنَسِيتُ بَقِيَّتَهُمْ.
Translation
Salama ibn al-Akwa said: “I fought alongside the Prophet in seven campaigns.” He mentioned Khaybar, al-Hudaybiya, the day of Hunayn, and the day of Dhat al-Qarad. Yazid said: “I have forgotten the rest.”
