The stay of the Prophet (saws) in Makkah
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ،. حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَأَقَمْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَشْرًا نَقْصُرُ الصَّلاَةَ.
Translation
Narrated Anas
We stayed (in Mecca) for ten days along with the Prophet (ﷺ) and used to offer shortened prayers (i.e. journey prayers).
