حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَتَبْتُ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ الْمَاجِشُونِ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، فِي بَدْرٍ. يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ ابْنَىْ عَفْرَاءَ.
Translation

Ali ibn Abdullah said: “I copied this from Yusuf ibn al-Majishun, from Salih ibn Ibrahim, from his father, from his grandfather, concerning Badr”—meaning the report about the two sons of Afra.
