حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَمُحَمَّدٌ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، وَيُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ لَمَّا ثَقُلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْتَأْذَنَ أَزْوَاجَهُ أَنْ يُمَرَّضَ فِي بَيْتِي فَأَذِنَّ لَهُ‏.‏

Translation

Hibban ibn Musa and Muhammad narrated to us; they said: ʿAbd Allah informed us: Maʿmar and Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, who said: ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUtba ibn Masʿud told me that ʿAʾisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ), said: When the Messenger of Allah’s (ﷺ) illness became severe, he asked his wives for permission to be nursed in my house, and they gave him permission.
