Sahih al-Bukhari 3103
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ لَمْ تَخْرُجْ مِنْ حُجْرَتِهَا.
Translation
Ibrahim ibn al-Mundhir narrated to us: Anas ibn ʿIyad narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, that ʿAʾisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray ʿAsr while the sun had not yet left her chamber.
