Sahih al-Bukhari 3109
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ قَدَحَ، النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم انْكَسَرَ، فَاتَّخَذَ مَكَانَ الشَّعْبِ سِلْسِلَةً مِنْ فِضَّةٍ. قَالَ عَاصِمٌ رَأَيْتُ الْقَدَحَ وَشَرِبْتُ فِيهِ.
Translation
ʿAbdan narrated to us, from Abu Hamza, from ʿAsim, from Ibn Sirin, from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet’s cup broke, so a chain of silver was made for it at the place of the crack. ʿAsim said: I saw the cup and drank from it.
