وَقَالَ لِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَذِنَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ لأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي آخِرِ حَجَّةٍ حَجَّهَا، فَبَعَثَ مَعَهُنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ.
Translation
Ahmad ibn Muhammad told me; Ibrahim narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather: Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) permitted the wives of the Prophet to perform Hajj during the last Hajj he made, and sent Uthman ibn Affan and Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf with them.
