حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم "لأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَحْبُلَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ "
Translation
Narrated Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "One would rather take a rope and cut wood and carry it than ask others).
