Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي مِكْيَالِهِمْ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي صَاعِهِمْ وَمُدِّهِمْ ". يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ.
Translation
Abdullah ibn Maslama narrated to me, from Malik, from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha, from Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah said: “O Allah, bless their measures, and bless their sa and mudd.” The reference is to the people of Medina.
