Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih al-Bukhari 2143
Abdullah ibn Yusuf narrated to us: Malik informed us, from Nafi, from Abdullah ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah forbade the sale known as habal al-habala. It was a sale practiced in the pre-Islamic period: a man would buy a she-camel on credit until the she-camel gave birth, and then until the offspring in her womb gave birth.
