Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ " فِي كَيْلٍ مَعْلُومٍ وَوَزْنٍ مَعْلُومٍ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مَعْلُومٍ " .
Translation
Qutayba narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Abdullah ibn Kathir, from Abu al-Minh al, who said: I heard Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, say: The Prophet arrived and said: “For a known measure, a known weight, and a known term.”
