Bulugh al-Maram 764
وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا { أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْمِي اَلْجَمْرَةَ اَلدُّنْيَا, بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ, يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى أَثَرِ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ, ثُمَّ يَتَقَدَّمُ, ثُمَّ يُسْهِلُ, فَيَقُومُ فَيَسْتَقْبِلُ اَلْقِبْلَةَ, فَيَقُومُ طَوِيلاً, وَيَدْعُو وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ, ثُمَّ يَرْمِي اَلْوُسْطَى, ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُ ذَاتَ اَلشِّمَالِ فَيُسْهِلُ, وَيَقُومُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ اَلْقِبْلَةِ, ثُمَّ يَدْعُو فَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ وَيَقُومُ طَوِيلاً, ثُمَّ يَرْمِي جَمْرَةَ ذَاتِ اَلْعَقَبَةِ مِنْ بَطْنِ اَلْوَادِي وَلَا يَقِفُ عِنْدَهَا, ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ, فَيَقُولُ: هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَفْعَلُهُ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 1751 ).
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to stone the first Jamrah with seven pebbles, saying ‘Allah is greatest’ after each pebble. Then he would move ahead, descend to level ground, stand facing the qiblah for a long time, supplicate, and raise his hands. Then he would stone the middle Jamrah, move to the left, descend to level ground, and stand facing the qiblah. He would supplicate, raise his hands, and stand for a long time. Then he would stone Jamrat al-‘Aqabah from the bottom of the valley and would not stop there. Then he would leave, saying: ‘This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) do it.’ Reported by al-Bukhari.
