وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ إِنَّ اَللَّهَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ تُؤْتَى 1‏ رُخَصُهُ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ تُؤْتَى 2‏ مَعْصِيَتُهُ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ, وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ.‏ 3‏.‏

‏1 ‏- في "أ": "يؤتى" وهو تحريف.‏‏2 ‏- في "أ": "يؤتى" وهو تحريف.‏‏3 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه أحمد (2/108)‏، وابن خزيمة (950)‏، وابن حبان (2742)‏.‏

He said, "O people! We pass (in our recitation) verses to be prostrated at, so whoever prostrates has done the right thing, and there is no sin upon the one who does not prostrate."[al-Bukhari reported it].It also contains the words: 'Allah the Most High has not made the prostration (of recitation) compulsory, unless one wishes (to do so).'[This Hadith is in the Muwatta' of Imam Malik).
