وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ: { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -صَلَّى صَلَاةَ اَلْخَوْفِ بِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَةً, وَبِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَةً, وَلَمْ يَقْضُوا } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ 1.
1 - صحيح. رواه أحمد (5/385 و 399)، وأبو داود (1246)، والنسائي (3/167-168)، ولا أظن أن عزوه لابن حبان إلا من باب الوهم والخطأ. والله أعلم.
Translation
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA)
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When one of you leads the people in prayer he should be brief, for among them are the young and the old, the weak and those who have needs to attend to. But if he prays by himself he may pray as he wishes."[Agreed upon].
