Sunan Ibn Majah 3252
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى حُدِّثْنَا عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " أَفْشُوا السَّلاَمَ وَأَطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ وَكُونُوا إِخْوَانًا كَمَا أَمَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .

Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā al-Azdī narrated to us: Ḥajjāj ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Sulaymān ibn Mūsā said: We were told from Nāfiʿ that ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar used to say that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spread greetings of peace, feed others, and be brothers as God, Mighty and Sublime, has commanded you.
