When a morsel falls Sunan Ibn Majah 3279
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا وَقَعَتِ اللُّقْمَةُ مِنْ يَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَمْسَحْ مَا عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الأَذَى وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا "
Translation
It wasnarrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
“If amorsel falls from the hand of anyone of you, let him wipe offwhatever dirt that is on it and eat it.”
