Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " الْكَافِرُ يَأْكُلُ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَمْعَاءٍ وَالْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْكُلُ فِي مِعًى وَاحِدٍ " .

ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Numayr narrated to us, from ʿUbayd Allāh, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: An unbeliever eats with seven intestines, while a believer eats with one intestine.
