Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " الْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْكُلُ فِي مِعًى وَاحِدٍ وَالْكَافِرُ يَأْكُلُ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَمْعَاءٍ " .

Abū Kurayb narrated to us: Abū Usāmah narrated to us, from Burayd ibn ʿAbd Allāh, from his grandfather Abū Burdah, from Abū Mūsā, who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A believer eats with one intestine, while an unbeliever eats with seven intestines.
