حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " لاَ آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا " .

Muḥammad ibn al-Ṣabbāḥ narrated to us: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from Misʿar, from ʿAlī ibn al-Aqmar, from Abū Juḥayfah, that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I do not eat while reclining.
