Sunan Ibn Majah 3267
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ، عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ غُلاَمًا فِي حِجْرِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَكَانَتْ يَدِي تَطِيشُ فِي الصَّحْفَةِ فَقَالَ لِي " يَا غُلاَمُ سَمِّ اللَّهَ وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ " .

Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah and Muḥammad ibn al-Ṣabbāḥ narrated to us; they said: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from al-Walīd ibn Kathīr, from Wahb ibn Kaysān, who heard it from ʿUmar ibn Abī Salamah. He said: I was a boy in the care of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and my hand moved around the dish. He said to me: Young man, mention the name of God, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearest to you.
