Sunan Ibn Majah 3226
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، أَنَّ قَرِيبًا، لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ خَذَفَ فَنَهَاهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى عَنِ الْخَذْفِ وَقَالَ " إِنَّهَا لاَ تَصِيدُ صَيْدًا وَلاَ تَنْكَأُ عَدُوًّا وَلَكِنَّهَا تَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ وَتَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ " . قَالَ فَعَادَ . فَقَالَ أُحَدِّثُكَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى عَنْهُ ثُمَّ عُدْتَ لاَ أُكَلِّمُكَ أَبَدًا .

Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Ismāʿīl ibn ʿUlayyah narrated to us, from Ayyūb, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, that a relative of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Mughaffal was flicking pebbles. He forbade him and said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade this pebble-flicking and said: It does not catch game or injure an enemy, but it breaks a tooth and pierces an eye. The man did it again, so he said: I tell you that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it, and you do it again? I will never speak to you again.
