Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ .قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ بِهَذَا حَتَّى دَخَلْتُ الشَّامَ
Translation
It wasnarrated from Abu Tha’labah Al-Khushani that the Prophet (ﷺ)forbade eating any predatory animal that has fangs.
