Muḥammad ibn Bashshār narrated to us: al-Anṣārī narrated to us: al-Masʿūdī narrated to us: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Qāsim ibn Muḥammad ibn Abī Bakr al-Ṣiddīq narrated to us, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The snake is wicked, the scorpion is wicked, the mouse is wicked, and the crow is wicked. Al-Qāsim was asked: Is the crow eaten? He said: Who would eat it after the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) called it wicked?
